Points Based System
Employer Immigration Service
Our job is to help our clients understand their legal and compliance obligations under the new Points Based System (PBS) regime, and to efficiently guide them through the myriad of requirements to a successful Employer Sponsorship Application with an A rating.
We do this through a well proven process we call the PBS Application Approval Project. The Project consists of Seven Steps, the first five of which should typically take three days to four weeks to complete depending on the following:
- Number of employees
- Existing HR systems, processes and procedures
- Identification of the key project employees
- The client's need for Warner Pride’s full set of services
The remaining two steps are in relation to post application requirement for you and your organisation to maintain and develop Best Practice HR Systems.
Warner Pride's Own Rating System
We give employers ratings based on the quality of the processes and procedures and how closely those processes and procedures are matched to the requirements of HR Best Practice and the PBS requirements. This rating enables us with good accuracy to allocate the correct resources in order to prepare our clients for the Sponsorship Application.
How our Ratings Work
| Rating A | We give this rating to an organisation whereby 95% of their current HR systems are in place that meet or surpass HR Best Practice, and whose systems, processes and procedures are a very close meet to the compliance requirements of the Points Based System. |
| Rating B | We give this rating to an organisation where 70% of their HR systems are already in place to meet HR Best Practice and with some work required to meet to the compliance requirements of the Points Based System. |
| Rating C | We give this rating to an organisation have 40% of their HR Systems in place to meet HR Best Practice and where some extra resources will be needed to bring that organisation into a position where they will match the compliance requirements of the Points Based System. |
| Rating D | We give this rating to any organisation where there are few or no HR systems, processes or procedures in place, or where there is a systematic failure to uphold or comply with systems that are in place. For most of these organisations they simply do not have the in house expertise, and the directors/owners main function has been generating revenue and new business. These employers are usually small organisations and they are usually owner managed. Our role is not to judge but to guide and assist where required. We can develop a range of HR Best Practice systems, processes and procedures for these organisations, and bring the company into a position where they meet all of the Points Based System compliance requirements, and also comply with best practice HR. |
Based on our analysis of your HR Systems, Processes and Procedures, and on ensuring all of the HR Systems fully comply with the UK Border Agency's Point Based System Compliance Requirements, we will produce a report to accompany your application for a Sponsorship Licence. It is this report that will be a significant part of your company being awarded an A rating from the UKBA.
