Entry Clearance

Warner Pride can assist you with your visa application regardless of where you are in the world. Whether or not you need to apply for entry clearance will depend on your nationality and the purpose of your visit to the United Kingdom.

People who have been granted a Certificate of Sponsorship will be required to apply for Entry Clearance in order to enter the UK to work.

Most visa applications to the UK are Entry Clearance applications. Therefore, if you make an application to come to the UK as a visitor, a spouse, or a Tier 1 migrant, you will be applying for Entry Clearance to enter the UK under those particular visa types.

There are some exceptions for the need to get Entry Clearance, for example American nationals can visit the UK without needing to apply for a visa under certain circumstance, but not when they are coming to the UK to work for more than six months

What is a Non-Visa Nationals?
A non-visa national does not need a visa to come to the United Kingdom for less than six months, unless it is a requirement of the immigration category under which they are entering. A non-visa national coming to the United Kingdom for more than six months will need a visa.

What is a Visa Nationals?
Some visa nationals may pass through the United Kingdom on the way to another country without a visa, but in some circumstances they will require a direct airside visa or visitor in transit visa.
